Bellissimo dipinto ad olio su tela raffigurante una cucina con alcune donne indaffarate intorno al camino, firmato e datato “Chierici G. 1865” nell’angolo in basso a sinistra. Si tratterebbe quindi di un’opera giovanile del famoso artista Gaetano Chierici (1838 – 1920), peraltro specializzato proprio in questo tipo di interni domestici popolati da persone e piccoli animali.
Gli ultimi risultati d’asta riguardanti altri dipinti di Gaetano Chierici della stessa misura si attestano sui 15.000 euro (Boetto) e 22.000 euro (Il Ponte).
Sul retro si trova il marchio della manifattura della tela, “Vallé & Bourniche” (1825 – 1841) – una delle maggiori dell’epoca. La menzione del precedente proprietario dell’attività, Michel Belot (ritiratosi nel 1824), ci permette di datare la tela con tutta probabilità agli anni 20 o 30 del 1800.
Misure: 38×46 cm
Le condizioni del dipinto sono eccellenti considerata l’età. Alcune piccole cadute di colore, e altre più rilevanti ai bordi dove la tela si ripiega sul telaio, tutto visibile nelle foto.
L’opera verrà imballata con cura e inviata con spedizione tracciata.In alternativa è possibile optare per il ritiro a mano in provincia di Verona.

An antique oil on canvas painting depicting three women in a kitchen in front of a fireplace. The painting is signed and dated “Chierici G. 1865”, and it’s therefore attributed to the famous italian artist Gaetano Chierici (1838 – 1920), who was indeed specialized in this type of domestic scenes.
The latest auction sales of Gaetano Chierici’s paintings of comparable measures reached 15.000 euros (Boetto) and 22.000 euros (Il Ponte).
On the back of the canvas there is the stamp of the manufacture, “Vallé & Bourniche” (1825 – 1841), one of the most important at the time. The fact that the previous owner of the business, mr Michel Belot, is mentioned, allows us to date this canvas to the second or third decade of the 19th century.
